Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Cabinetmaker/Assembler role in Portland, OR. Our client is a well-established commercial cabinet shop known for producing high-end retail store fixtures, displays, and architectural millwork for the casino, hospitality, and gaming industries. With a strong reputation for craftsmanship and quality, they take pride in delivering exceptional custom products while maintaining a professional and team-oriented work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings to determine required parts and assembly specifications.
Assemble and build commercial cabinetry, store fixtures, displays, and architectural millwork components.
Operate stationary and portable woodworking equipment along with related hand tools safely and efficiently.
Ensure accuracy and quality throughout the assembly and production process.
Lift, move, and handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
Assist with special projects and additional production needs as required.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and a strong work ethic.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to meet production deadlines.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a cabinetmaker, assembler, or woodworking professional required.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
Experience using woodworking machinery, power tools, and hand tools.
Ability to lift and handle up to 50+ lbs regularly throughout the shift.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Dependable attendance and willingness to work overtime as needed.
Commitment to maintaining the highest level of professionalism and ethics.
Schedule & Pay:
Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM 2:30 PM
Availability for weekday overtime and occasional weekend shifts as production schedules dictate
Pay ranges from $27.00 $29.00 per hour depending on experience
