Outside Sales Representative

Overview Roto-Rooter is hiring Outside Sales Representatives for our Excavation and Water Restoration departments. The role focuses on converting leads provided by field service technicians and call centers into closed sales, leveraging established pricing and insurance guidelines. Compensation averages $55,000–$75,000 per year plus mileage reimbursement, with all leads supplied and no cold calling required. Responsibilities Engage in proactive follow‑up communication with existing customers to deliver effective solutions for plumbing or water‑related issues. Leverage our pricing matrix and/or insurance guidelines to provide competitive quotes for repair, replacement, or mitigation options and effectively close sales. Serve as a trusted information resource for Roto‑Rooter customers. Excavation Sales Responsibilities Identify and sell opportunities to repair or replace sewer lines for residential and commercial customers. Conduct camera assessments of sewer lines to determine root interruption or breakage that requires repair or replacement. Water Restoration Sales Responsibilities Identify and sell opportunities to mitigate property damage caused by water for residential and commercial markets. Perform assessments of property to determine moisture levels and the need for demolition and drying to acceptable levels. Requirements A valid driver’s license. Exceptional focus on delivering outstanding customer service. Thrives in a fast‑paced work environment. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Organized self‑starter with an outgoing personality. Working knowledge of common software programs.
