Locums - Ephrata, Pennsylvania Hematology/Oncology Opportunity Clinical Role Join an established Hematology/Oncology practice in Ephrata, Pennsylvania, providing ongoing full-time outpatient and inpatient consultative care. This long-term locums opportunity offers an established patient panel, excellent multidisciplinary support, and the opportunity to practice in a collaborative rural community setting. Assignment Length: Ongoing Minimum six-month commitment

Schedule: Full-time coverage Five clinic days per week Eight-hour day shifts Clinic begins at 8:00 AM First patient scheduled at 8:15-8:30 AM Last patient scheduled at 3:30 PM Thirty-minute lunch included Established patient panel

Call Schedule: Weekend call: Two weekends per month Night call: Ten days per month Call rotation: 1:2 Weeknight call: 4:15 PM-8:00 AM Weekend: 24-hour call coverage Includes two hours of gratis rounding each Saturday and Sunday Approximately 2-3 patient phone calls between 5:00 PM and 9:00 PM Calls after 9:00 PM are uncommon Covers emergency department and hospital team Phone calls do not count as callback Consulting service only; hospitalists manage admissions

Patient Population: Adult patients Approximately 15 patients per day Rural community

Case Mix: 60% Hematology 40% Oncology Solid tumor oncology Benign hematology Malignant hematology

Infusion & Treatment Services: Fourteen-chair infusion center Two-bed infusion room Oncology-certified nursing staff Radiation Oncology onsite

Procedures: Bone marrow biopsies not required Lumbar punctures not required Port access not required Bone marrow transplant consults/care not required

Support & Technology EMR System: EPIC

Provider Support: 1.3 Hematology/Oncology physicians Three Advanced Practice Providers Onsite pharmacist Disease-specific tumor boards General tumor boards Collaborative multidisciplinary care team

Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology Active Pennsylvania Medical License or IMLC eligibility required DEA required Minimum one year of Hematology/Oncology experience

Credentialing Approximately 90-day credentialing timeframe Temporary privileges available for clean files

Organization & Team Established Hematology/Oncology program Collaborative physician and APP team Dedicated oncology-certified nursing staff Onsite pharmacy support Radiation Oncology onsite Multidisciplinary tumor board participation
