Staff Accountant Job Summary: Staff Accountant. The primary responsibilities of this role are assisting the CFO and Controller in maintaining financial records including A/R and A/P, assisting with financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with regulations while supporting the accounting department’s daily operations.Assist in the preparation of regular financial reports and analysis, including balance sheets and income statements. Assist with other office duties as needed. Location: Pensacola, Fl. Position Type: Evaluation Hire Pay: $75,000 Schedule: Monday-Thursday 8AM- 4:30PM, Friday 8AM-4PM Qualifications: Preparation and posting of journal entries Prepare reconciliations for assigned accounts Assist in monthly close Interacts and communicates with team members and third parties in a cooperative, clear and professional manner in person, by email, and by telephone Act as backup for other positions in the department as needed Other duties and responsibilities as assigned Bachelor’s degree in accounting (or equivalent) 2-3 years’ experience in an accounting environment Working knowledge and application of GAAP Experience with Microsoft Office suite applications Experience with QuickBooks highly preferred Ability to be flexible in responding to changing priorities, duties and/or requirements Excellent verbal and written communication skills; well organized and detail oriented; motivated self-starter and goal oriented #3463 Benefits Available to Eligible Express Associates: Medical Plan Dental Plan Holiday Pay (6 Days Observed) 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan Vision/Eyewear Plan Vacation Pay Life Insurance #J-18808-Ljbffr
