Job Opportunity – Labor & Delivery / Obstetrics Registered Nurse – Michigan

Start Date: September 14, 2026

Location: Owosso, Michigan

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 13-week assignment with every third weekend and holiday rotation as needed. Non-billable orientation of 8 hours. Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.

Highlights:

• Work in a family-centered birthing unit serving over 500 families annually with comprehensive LDRP services
• Full-spectrum obstetric experience including Labor, Triage, Delivery, Circulating, C-Sections, Newborn Care, and Post Partum Couplet Care
• Facility-provided scrubs and supportive team environment focused on caring and compassionate maternal care
• Call-back, holiday, and overtime paid at 1.25x multiplier
• All time-off requests must be submitted at application (maximum 5 days; no post-offer requests accepted)
• Must have own vehicle for commuting purposes

Requirements:

• Active Michigan RN License (verified through LARA and/or Nursys)
• Minimum 2 years of OB/GYN nursing experience required
• High proficiency in LDRP, including Labor, Triage, Delivery, Circulating, C-Sections, Newborn Care, and Post Partum Couplet Care
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification
• Current American Heart Association ACLS certification
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Current AWHONN certification
• STABLE certification preferred
• COVID-19 vaccination required (exemptions allowed)
• Must pass dysrhythmia test prior to floor assignment
• Current skills checklist (within 1 year, pertinent to OB/GYN specialty) and two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years
