Quick Facts Location: 1705 Tarboro Street, Wilson, NC 27893 Start Date: 12/31/2025 End Date: Ongoing / Temporary assignment Shift: Varied shifts, onsite call room or hotel options available Hours/week: 40+ hours/week Employment Type: Contract / Locum Tenens Licenses/Certifications: Active NC Medical License required, BLS/ACLS preferred Experience: Prior OB/GYN experience with proficiency in circumcisions required Pay & Benefits Pay rate: $1.00/hour (additional compensation details discussed upon application) Benefits: Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Medical insurance (W-2) coverage Paid sick leave in accordance with applicable laws Robust referral bonus program Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements where applicable 24/7 support team dedicated to your success with VHS What You’ll Do Provide comprehensive OB/GYN care including deliveries, prenatal, and postpartum management Perform circumcisions and other surgical procedures as required Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout all care episodes Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver quality care Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to facility protocols Support the unit’s operational needs and ensure continual coverage Participate in on-call duties as scheduled What You Need Valid and current North Carolina medical license Proven experience in obstetrics and gynecology care, including circumcisions Key skills: patient assessment, surgical skills, strong communication, & teamwork Required: Active licensure, minimum of 2 years of OB/GYN practice experience Preferred: BLS/ACLS certifications, experience in hospital or clinic settings About the Assignment This assignment is at a reputable facility in Wilson, NC, a vital healthcare unit that requires reliable OB/GYN providers to ensure continuous patient care.
