M&A Integration Business Analyst

Vaco has partnered with a growing financial services organization in Austin,TX to add a Business Analyst to their team, focused on mergers, acquisitions, and onboarding newly acquired firms. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of business operations and strategy. You’ll work closely with leadership and advisors to evaluate new opportunities, document how businesses operate, and help guide a smooth transition onto a unified platform. This is a hybrid role based in Austin, TX, offering a salary up to $110K, depending on experience. Responsibilities Partner with advisors and leadership teams to understand how their business operates and assess integration readiness Document current workflows and identify opportunities to improve or streamline processes Support due diligence efforts by gathering key operational insights and identifying potential risks Help guide newly acquired firms through onboarding, including aligning processes, data, and systems Act as a bridge between business teams and technical teams to ensure solutions align with real-world needs Track progress, flag challenges, and help ensure successful adoption of new processes Requirements 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst Strong background in M&A, integrations, or onboarding new entities into an existing organization Ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels - this role is highly relationship-driven Experience documenting business processes and evaluating operational workflows Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
