This position involves providing specialized patient care in a cardiovascular clinical setting, primarily performing procedures such as angioplasty and stenting. The role requires adapting to a fast-paced environment with a focus on delivering quality cardiovascular services. Job Details Shift: Days, 10 hours per shift, with a schedule of 40 hours per week Required Qualifications: Valid Kansas licensure, active Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications; a minimum of 1 year of current acute care hospital experience in a Cath Lab setting, with a focus on cardiac procedures such as angioplasty and stenting. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Mac Lab and Meditech electronic medical records system; prior experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab environment. Patient Ratios: 1:1 (one nurse to one patient) Unit Information: Location: Wichita, Kansas Address: 550 N Hillside Street, Wichita, KS 67214 Unit Type: Cardiovascular Laboratory Bed Count: 4 beds Staff: 12 team members including 3 techs and 9 RNs Staffing Schedule: Day shift Additional Information: Candidates who meet the specified qualifications and possess preferred skills such as Mac Lab and Meditech experience will be prioritized. The unit has up-to-date technology and a team of experienced staff. The assignment includes a commitment to one on‑call night per week and one weekend per month.
