Their employment is tied to their role on a project, and they are eligible for a benefits package that is competitive for project delivery-focused professionals.QualificationsRequired:Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Physics, Operations Research, or another quantitative field2+ years of experience building and deploying data science or machine learning solutions2+ years of experience conducting research using statistical methods, data science, and machine learningAbility to travel 15-20%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serveMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the futurePreferred:Master’s degree or Doctor of Philosophy degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Physics, Operations Research, or another quantitative fieldExperience with Python and data science or machine learning libraries such as NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, SciPy, or statsmodelsExperience with object-oriented programming, version control using Git, testing, and code reviewExperience supporting healthcare or Medicare programsExperience working with claims, enrollment, or administrative healthcare data, including Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services data, International Classification of Diseases codes, Current Procedural Terminology codes, or Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System codesExperience applying probability, statistics, linear algebra, or optimization to machine learning model developmentThe wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $113,000 to $188,400.You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
