Telemetry Nurse (RN) in Anaheim, CA

Key Details:

• Day shift
• 12-hour shifts
• Per diem status

Qualifications:

• Current, active RN license
• Proven experience in Telemetry nursing
• Competency in assessing, monitoring, and responding to cardiac rhythms and patient changes
• Experience and willingness to float to a MedSurg unit when required
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• BLS and ACLS certifications (current)

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, promptly responding to abnormalities
• Conduct comprehensive physical assessments and respond rapidly to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and treatments safely, maintaining detailed and accurate patient records
• Foster an environment focused on patient comfort, dignity, and safety
• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary care team to create and implement patient care plans
• Educate patients and their families regarding condition management and recovery processes
• Adapt to assignments within both telemetry and medical-surgical units as patient census requires
