Shift & Compensation Work Shift: 12 Hours – Night Shifts (United States of America) Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Compensation: Salary Range: $32.00 – $48.00 per hour Sign On Bonus: Available! Union Position: No Rotating weekends and holidays Generous shift differentials: Monday – Thursday (6pm – 6am) + $1.25/hr; Friday – Sunday (6pm – 6am) + $7.25/hr Summary The Long Term Care (LTC) Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to residents. Collaborates with residents, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues, including providers, to plan, implement and evaluate care. Responsibilities Demonstrate competency and practice within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge, utilizing appropriate age and population specific standards. Provide care to residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. Coordinate care, perform resident assessment, conduct resident education, and execute various nursing interventions. Serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel within job descriptions, skill sets, resident care needs, and competence levels. Provide assistance and support to delegates to ensure safe, reliable administration of resident care and resolution of care and service concerns. Operate within the scopes and standards of nursing practice as outlined by the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules in the state of practice and licensure. Qualifications Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including but not limited to CCNE, ACEN, and NLN CNEA. Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in nursing. Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where practice occurs and/or possesses multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
