This large medical center operates as part of a large health system providing specialized hematology and oncology services. The facility maintains modern equipment and comprehensive support services for outpatient cancer and blood disorder care. The center utilizes EPIC EMR system for seamless patient care coordination and established protocols for quality treatment delivery. The facility provides a collaborative care environment designed to support optimal patient outcomes.

The region offers outdoor recreation opportunities and year-round activities for residents and visitors. The area features various parks, hiking trails, and recreational facilities that provide both educational and entertainment options. Historical sites and cultural attractions are available throughout the region, along with scenic areas that offer walking and leisure activities for those seeking relaxation or adventure.

The hematologist/oncologist will provide comprehensive outpatient hematology and oncology care managing 15 patients daily Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with no call or weekend responsibilities. Responsibilities include participating in a tumor board, managing bone marrow transplants, ordering tests and imaging, and coordinating with the blood bank. The position requires board certification and prescriptive authority while utilizing EPIC EMR system for documentation and treatment planning. Hospital privileges are required with an estimated 60-90 day credentialing period. The role is supported by a team of physicians, APPs, and additional clinical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
