Full Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Full Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) based in Independence, Missouri, providing direct patient care under RN supervision and traveling occasionally to Overland Park, Kansas. Offers career stability, professional growth, and the opportunity to deliver exceptional patient care in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care under RN supervision
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
Monitor patient conditions and report changes
Accurately document care in Matrix EMR
Assist with admissions, discharges, and assessments
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for quality outcomes
Educate patients and families on treatment plans
Maintain compliance with regulations
Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) program
Active Missouri LPN license required
Compact nursing license or active Missouri and Kansas LPN license required
Strong communication, organizational, and clinical assessment skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team

Preferred Skills:

Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
Experience with Matrix EMR strongly preferred
Minimum of 1 year of LPN experience highly preferred
