About the Position

Job Opportunity – Emergency Room Registered Nurse – West Virginia

Start Date: September 14, 2026

Location: West Virginia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 36 hours weekly, night shift 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM with weekend rotations

Highlights:

• Emergency Department with 7 beds and average daily census of 27 patients
• Patient ratio of 3:1 across all shifts
• Full interdisciplinary support including Respiratory Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Pharmacy, and Unit Secretary
• Care for diverse patient population across all age groups from infants to geriatrics
• 48 hours of orientation provided
• CERNER charting system

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required (first-time travelers will not be considered)
• Active West Virginia or Compact State RN License (pending license accepted for submission)
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications through American Heart Association required
• TNCC certification preferred
• Strong skills in rapid assessment, triage, trauma management, advanced life support, IV access, and emergency interventions
• Permanent address must be 100+ miles from facility location
• Minimum 2 manager or charge nurse references from the past 2 years required
