As a member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of patients while enjoying competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and the support of a dedicated clinical team.Required Qualifications:One year of recent experience as a Nurse EducatorCurrent Valid RN license in compliance with state regulationsCurrent BLS certification (AHA/ARC)Summary:A Nurse Educator is responsible for creating and leading educational programs to support clinical staff development and promote evidence-based nursing practice. Blending clinical experience to facilitate orientation, competency development, continuing education and quality improvement initiatives. The Nurse Educator works closely with nursing teams, leaders, and other departments to make sure every clinician has the tools and knowledge needed to provide quality care to patients.Essential Work Functions:Design and implement educational programs tailored to nursing staff needs, including orientation, continuing education, and competency assessmentsLead orientation and onboarding for new hiresServe as a resource for evidence-based practices, clinical protocols, and policy interpretationSupport nursing staff with professional growth and developmentCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams to identify areas for improvement and implement educational strategiesEnsure that educational programs meet the standards set by accrediting and regulatory bodies as well as facility policies and proceduresImplement strong proficiency in adult learning principles and teaching methodologiesParticipate in interdisciplinary team meetingsPerform other duties as assigned within scopeRequired Essential Skills:Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skillsThe ability to read, write, and communicate in the English languageAbility to read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skillsPhysical Abilities - Must be able to remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), push, pull, and bendInterpersonal Skills - Must be able to work effectively with a variety of personnel (professional and ancillary) to present a positive attitude and professionalismTechnical/Motor Skills - Must have the ability to grasp, perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipmentMental Requirements - Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers while meeting deadlines under pressure. Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally, as well as working without assistance from other personnel.
