The Service Senior Sales Executive is dedicated to supporting our Service Agreements business within the Smart Buildings Automation Controls Service team. This role involves supporting our Building Automation Operations team, which performs automation service and maintenance in large commercial buildings like hospitals, universities, and industrial facilities. Why is this important? Our Sales Executives serve as ambassadors of Siemens’ quality technology, products, and services. Your expertise and interactions with customers will help optimize and ensure a safe, emergency-ready workplace. As a Service Senior Sales Executive , you will: Achieve new order/booking and profit goals based on your quota. Develop and maintain a pipeline of opportunities, forecast expected order intake, and deliver consistent results. Understand the marketplace, competitors, customers, and decision-makers across regions and segments, staying current on market trends. Create a market and account management plan focusing on strategic growth, identifying new business opportunities, and developing go-to-market strategies. Act as a consultant to various levels within customer organizations, understanding their challenges and recommending services to meet their building system needs. Participate in industry networking events and professional organizations to build contacts and represent Siemens. Discuss budgeting and investment needs with customers. Position Siemens as an industry leader by leveraging our digital service delivery. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent customer outcomes. Use sales support resources to maximize customer engagement. Work with estimators to prepare cost estimates and bid packages. Partner with other sales teams to target and acquire new projects. Set pricing based on the value of services provided. Coordinate with various internal departments to secure sales. Participate in sales meetings and training to stay updated on market and product trends. Spend at least 50% of your time in customer-facing activities, both in person and on-site. Support existing customers and seek new business opportunities. Travel overnight approximately 10% for training and business development, depending on your territory. Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED 3+ years of sales experience in building automation or related field Ability to estimate and sell technical solutions independently Experience in account development and strategic sales English communication skills (verbal and written) Organizational, presentation, and negotiation skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office Valid driver’s license, 21+ years old, limited violations Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship Must be vaccinated against COVID-19 where legally permitted, with accommodations if needed Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s in Business or Engineering Experience with Salesforce CRM Knowledge of Software, IoT, networking Experience in life sciences, healthcare, education, data centers, or commercial offices Experience selling cloud-based, data-driven services like fault detection and diagnostics Benefits: Health and wellness benefits (details at Salary range: $72,310 - $123,960 plus uncapped commission Unlimited commission potential Opportunities to expand your customer base with Siemens’ product portfolio Structured sales development program for quick onboarding Flexible work arrangements, including work from home options Ready to create your journey?
