Corporate Counsel - Financial Services

LHH Recruitment is assisting a financial services company with a long-standing history of growth and success in seeking In House Counsel to join its collaborative in-house legal team. Key Responsibilities:

• Advise on legal and regulatory matters, including financial services, employment, privacy, corporate, and commercial issues.
• Research and analyze complex legal developments and provide practical business guidance.
• Support strategic initiatives, regulatory projects, and international expansion efforts.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements and other business-critical documentation.
• Manage corporate, employment, litigation, and vendor contract matters.
• Partner with outside counsel and help train internal stakeholders on legal and regulatory developments.

Qualifications:

• J.D. and active bar admission.
• 6+ years of legal experience, including experience at a mid-sized or large law firm.
• Strong judgment, analytical skills, and the ability to balance legal risk with business objectives.
• Experience with financial services, investment management, privacy, or employment matters is a plus, but not required.
