Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated Cook to prepare high-quality meals in accordance with food safety standards. The Cook will be responsible for following recipes, cooking, and presenting dishes with attention to detail.
1. Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and chopping.
2. Cook food according to menus and recipes provided.
3. Monitor food stocks and place orders as needed.
4. Ensure all food preparation areas are clean and sanitized.
5. Follow proper food handling procedures and regulations.
6. Maintain a safe and orderly kitchen environment.
7. Collaborate with the rest of the kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food production.
8. Adhere to all health and safety standards. Qualifications:
1. Proven experience as a Cook or similar role.
2. Knowledge of various cooking methods and techniques.
3. Familiarity with sanitation regulations.
4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
5. Team player with good communication skills.
6. High school diploma or equivalent; culinary school diploma is a plus.
