Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years of prior travel experience required License: Active nursing license required Certifications: ACLS BLS NIHSS PALS Must-Have: Previous charge experience Patient ratio experience Travel experience required Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse in the Medical Surgical specialty. This position is for a 13-week duration. The shift will be during the night, consisting of 12-hour shifts. The nurse will be responsible for providing care to a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The daily census in the unit will be approximately 8 patients. The nurse will manage medication administration, IVs, and telemetry monitoring. Experience with ports, BiPAP/CPAP management, and blood product administration is required. Isolation precautions and the ability to manage cardiac and vasoactive drips are essential skills. The nurse will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.
