Sourcing Coordinator

Your Job Optimized Process Design (OPD), a Koch company, is seeking a Sourcing Coordinator to support procurement and project execution activities for civil and structural materials. This role is responsible for sourcing materials, processing purchase orders, supporting field personnel, and building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure projects receive the right materials at the right time. This role will sit in office in Katy, TX Monday - Friday. This role is not open to Visa sponsorship. The team plays a critical role in ensuring material availability, maintaining supplier relationships, and supporting successful project execution through responsive service and effective coordination. What You Will Do Source civil and structural materials in support of project requirements and schedules. Review material specifications, vendor quotations, and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness, resolving discrepancies prior to order released Coordinate with suppliers to obtain pricing, availability, lead times, and delivery commitments. Create, review, and process purchase orders, ensuring accurate pricing, quantities, delivery terms, supporting documentation, and compliance with company policies and project requirements. Support field personnel, project teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders by responding to procurement needs and resolving sourcing and material issues Build and maintain productive relationships with suppliers and internal business partners. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) Experience supporting procurement or sourcing activities. Experience reviewing specifications, pricing information, purchase orders, or related documentation. Experience coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders to support business or project needs. Experience managing multiple assignments or priorities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Outlook.
