The Wisconsin Institute for Torah Study, a small private boarding school for high school boys, located on the East Side of Milwaukee, is seeking a part-time math teacher. This is an ongoing position for the successful candidate. Classes taught include Algebra and Geometry and can include additional upper level courses. Wisconsin Institute for Torah Study (WITS) is a small, religious, private boys' boarding school located on the East Side of Milwaukee with 15 - 22 students in each grade. Our General Studies program is college preparatory and successful. Our small teaching staff is talented and stable with very little turnover, and our students are serious about their academic achievement. Our students come to us from across the United States, as well as Canada. Classes meet four days a week, Monday through Thursday, beginning in late August for a total of 135 days of school ending mid-June. We have well-behaved students and a competitive salary. Our class shedule begins at 2:00pm and includes six periods ending at 7:00pm. With no classes on Friday, this is an excellent opportunity for someone now teaching earlier in the day or one who is retired. We provide an excellent teaching environment for one who can engage students in rigorous academic study.
