Try new things, learn new skills and discover what you excel at—all from Day One.Job DescriptionWe are hiring for multiple teams within Paying & Transfer Agent Operations, including:TransfersBondholder ServicesSettlements / Dtc / ClosingsWhile all roles support Corporate Trust operations, specific duties may vary based on team assignment.The Paying & Transfer Agent Operations Specialist supports Corporate Trust operations by processing and reviewing bond, securities, transfer, and account-related transactions. This role ensures work is completed accurately, timely, and in compliance with established procedures, regulatory requirements, and operational controls. The position works closely with internal partners and customers to resolve issues, support client requests, and identify process improvements.Key ResponsibilitiesComplete day-to-day transaction processing and operational support activities.Review and process transactions for accuracy, compliance, and quality.Research and resolve transaction, account, customer, and system-related issues.Provide service and support to internal and external customers.Monitor workloads and meet established deadlines and service levels.Prepare and maintain operational reports and documentation.Partner with internal teams to support transaction processing and issue resolution.Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and efficiency.Support audit, regulatory, risk management, and business continuity activities.Participate in special projects, testing, and departmental initiatives.Basic QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentOne to three years of experience in transaction processingPreferred Skills/ExperienceExperience in financial services, banking, operations, or transaction processing.Knowledge of corporate trust, securities, bond processing, or related financial products.Ability to follow structured procedures and manage high-volume workloads.Strong attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Experience working in a regulated environment with a focus on compliance and controls.Strong customer service, communication, and relationship management skills.Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and manage multiple priorities.Demonstrated ownership, accountability, and commitment to continuous improvement.Location Expectations:This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.If there's anything we can do to accommodate a disability during any portion of the application or hiring process, please refer to our disability accommodations for applicants.Benefits:Healthcare (medical, dental, vision)Basic term and optional term life insuranceShort-term and long-term disabilityPregnancy disability and parental leave401(k) and employer-funded retirement planPaid vacation (from two to five weeks depending on salary grade and tenure)Up to 11 paid holiday opportunitiesAdoption assistanceSick and Safe Leave accruals of one hour for every 30 worked, up to 80 hours per calendar year unless otherwise provided by lawU.S. Bank is an equal opportunity employer.
