JD North America is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Operations Supervisor to lead and oversee daily warehouse operations team. In this role you will manage team performance, coordinate inventory and merchandising activities. Your leadership will be instrumental in maintaining an organized, efficient, and welcoming retail environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop management skills while contributing to the success of a vibrant retail team.

Duties

• Supervise daily activities, including sales floor operations, inventory control.
• Lead, motivate, and develop team members through effective training, coaching, and performance management
• Oversee employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting efforts, and onboarding processes to build a strong retail team
• Manage cash handling procedures with accuracy and integrity
• Implement inventory management practices including stock counting, inventory control, and shrink reduction measures
• Managing the inbound and outbound planning and execution of the warehouse

 

Skills

• Proven supervisory experience in warehouse operations
• Proven experience in working with international shipping, along with warehouse documentation requirements
• Strong understanding in inbound and outbound warehouse operations
• Bilingual proficiency preferred
• Skilled in managerial communication techniques
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of warehouse standards including inventory counts, tracking, and budgeting.
• Managing and monitoring team performance to meet organizational standards
• Experience with inventory management software, and operational procedures within warehouse settings
• Demonstrated ability to train staff in warehouse policies and procedures, equipment knowledge, safety protocols and operational standards
• Competency in managing shift schedules, overseeing warehouse management functions
• Must be certified forklift

Compensation and Benefits:

· Competitive base salary $57,000 - $65,000
