Key responsibilities include preparing and reviewing federal and state income tax returns for individuals and trusts, analyzing financial data, and working closely with financial advisors and clients to gather essential documentation. You'll be expected to stay current on tax laws, maintain meticulous records, and contribute to the overall efficiency of our tax team. To succeed in this role, candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with at least three years of experience in preparing complex tax returns—experience with high-net-worth clients is a significant plus. Strong knowledge of federal and state tax codes, proficiency in tax software like CCH Axcess, and excellent communication and organizational skills are essential. Certification such as CPA or EA is advantageous but not mandatory.
