Retail Store AssociateHeadquartered in Suwanee, GA, Pearlman Group, is a multi-channel developer and distributor of specialty supplies, tools, and equipment used in the fabrication, maintenance, cleaning, and restoration of surfaces for residential, commercial, and industrial end-markets. The Company's products include an extensive offering of proprietary, exclusive, and nationally branded products with over 18,000 SKUs across multiple price points and applications.The Retail Store Associate will assist in the day-to-day operations within a best-in-class industrial supply retail store. Reporting to the Store Manager, they will proactively drive product sales to exertional customers, promote product and customer demo/training, execute receiving/shipping/storage of in-store merchandise, and follow our retail fundaments to ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of the retail branch location.The Retail Store Associate will be responsible for the following, but not limited to:Contribute to branch performance against KPI goals and work proactively to improve results.Processing counter sales and checking out customersPicking, packing, and shipping warehouse ordersAnswering customer phone calls in a timely mannerRestocking, pricing, cleaning, and maintaining visual standardsOther duties as expected.To perform the job successfully, an individual must have the following:Must be eighteen (18) years of age or olderHigh school diploma or equivalent is preferredMinimum of 1 year in a similar role.Experience with using a computer for daily tasks.Have extensive verbal communication required for customer and associate relations.Ability to work closely with all levels inside the retail location.Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening, Motor vehicle record, and background check.Forklift experience preferredBilingual preferred (Spanish Speaking)0-10% TravelHigh SKU diverse retail store operations that encompass small individual items to large material handling equipment. Some MHE equipment used. Utilize a computer and other tools to monitor productivity and operations. Lift, push, pull, and grasp up to 48 pounds while standing and kneeling. Work in a high traffic area.
