Business Controller

Chesapeake Search Partners is partnering with a global professional services organization to identify a Business Controller. This highly collaborative leadership role serves as a strategic business partner, supporting financial operations, business development, and account management across a dynamic, fast-paced organization. The Business Controller will play a key role in driving profitability, supporting new business acquisition, ensuring compliance, and partnering with operational leaders to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
• Partner with business development and operations teams to support new business pursuits, including RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and client presentations.
• Review, negotiate, and execute contracts and agreements while ensuring compliance with organizational and client requirements.
• Monitor account, office, and regional financial performance, providing analysis and recommendations to improve profitability.
• Support compensation administration, forecasting, financial reporting, and performance metrics tied to business goals.
• Lead compliance and risk management activities related to employment regulations, contractual obligations, and internal policies.
• Supervise and develop team members while partnering cross-functionally to support operational and financial objectives.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Four or more years of progressive business, finance, or accounting experience required.
• Prior supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze financial data and support strategic decision-making.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and driving results.
