About The Role We are hiring a Registered Nurse, Director of Nursing (DON) Skilled Nursing and Rehab Community located in North Central, PA. This is a great fit for an experienced DON —or a strong ADON ready for a first DON role—who leads collaboratively, builds trust first, and implements change thoughtfully over time. What You’ll Do Lead nursing operations across Long Term Care and Subacute Rehab Supervise and support a leadership team that includes: 2 Unit Managers 2 RNACs Drive quality outcomes, compliance, and survey readiness Partner with leadership on infection prevention (shared with Unit Managers) Coach, mentor, and develop nurses and nurse leaders Build relationships and implement change thoughtfully over time Required Active RN license in State of PA Skilled Nursing / Long-Term Care experience Nursing leadership experience (DON, ADON, Unit Manager) Preferred Experience mentoring or developing a nursing leadership team ADON ready to move into a first-time DON role 2+ years of nurse leadership experience mentoring or developing a nursing leadership team within a Skilled Nursing or Long Term Care setting. ADON ready to move into a first-time DON role Highlights Salary and Compensation: $115,000 - $120,000/year based on experience.
