Logistics Clerk

We are looking for a dependable and organized Logistics Clerk to support our office and logistics operations. This is primarily an administrative position with some exposure to logistics, shipping, receiving, and inventory activities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working with computers and paperwork, and able to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, drivers, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general administrative and clerical duties to support daily operations
• Enter and maintain shipping, receiving, order, and inventory information in company systems
• Prepare, organize, and file documents, invoices, purchase orders, and shipping paperwork
• Assist with scheduling deliveries, pickups, and shipments
• Communicate with carriers, vendors, customers, and internal departments regarding shipment status and documentation
• Track shipments and update records as needed
• Review paperwork for accuracy and follow up on missing or incorrect information
• Assist with basic inventory records and data entry
• Answer phones, respond to emails, and direct inquiries to the appropriate department
• Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and other administrative documents
• Provide general office support to the logistics and operations teams
• Maintain accurate and organized electronic and physical records
• Perform other administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous administrative, clerical, office, logistics, shipping, or customer service experience preferred
• Some experience in a warehouse, shipping, receiving, or logistics environment is a plus.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel
• Excellent data-entry and organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently while supporting a team
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
