We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Project Support Specialist to join our team at K&A Power Group in Melville, New York. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting and challenging projects that make a real impact in the energy and utility sectors. You’ll be part of a dynamic, people-focused team where your expertise, ideas, and contributions will be valued and celebrated.

Role Expectations:

• Assist with oversight of material reconciliation process
• Provide project-based assistance and support to the FEMA Team
• Anticipate upcoming responsibilities or needs and use initiative appropriately
• Utilize SAP to:
  • Record Data
  • Update New/Current Information
  • Update Work Orders
  • Track Schedules and export into Excel

What we’re looking for:

• A four-year college degree is preferred, majoring in Business Administration or related field.
• 6 years of experience performing this specific job function and requires some managerial oversight/direction.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrable quantitative and analytical skills
• Utility background is preferred
• Previous experience utilizing basic computer applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint).
• Microsoft Project experience is a plus, as is prior work on a federally funded project
• Demonstrate a high level of personal initiative and ability to interact with stakeholders positively and collaboratively.
• Demonstrate a high level of skill in Microsoft Excel.
• Must be in Long Island or Queens County
• Hybrid Position in Melville, NY (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)

Pay Range $70,000-$78,000/year
