Children's Counselor - Fee for Service (CFTSS)

RiseWell Community Services is looking for a Children’s Counselor to join the Children & Family Treatment Support Services Program. Program Overview Our Children and Family Treatment Support Services includes individual, group, or family therapy, family peer support, and rehabilitation services to strengthen children/youth and their families to help them make informed decisions about their care. Key Responsibilities Provide services to children and youth under 21 years old in community-based settings, enabling them to remain at home and in the community. Offer participants independent choices among a variety of service options and providers. CPST – community psychiatric supports and treatment PSR – psychosocial rehabilitation Responsible for all documentation, including assessments, service plans, progress notes, authorizations, and other required information as per program policy and procedures. Services will be delivered within your scope of practice; not all services may apply. Employment Details Department: Clinical Services Hours: Fee For Service Qualifications Service delivery must be provided with an appropriate professional license within scope of services when applicable. Candidate must hold at least a BA degree and have some experience with children. Clean, valid NYS Driver’s License. Fingerprinting, criminal record check, and all necessary clearances from the Justice Center required.
