The Hill at Whitemarsh is currently seeking a dedicated Line Cook Supervisor to join our dynamic team working for an upscale Suburban Retirement Living Community!

The Line Cook Supervisor supports the kitchen, menu development, training and direction of hourly kitchen staff, inventory and ordering and monitoring all food preparation, presentation and delivery over the course of the day.

• Maintain quality and execution of daily production
• Manage inventory
• Train new and existing staff on all facets of food preparation
• Maintain standards of excellence in the service kitchen and prep kitchen , with specific focus on cleanliness, organization, proper sanitation , quality and appearance of food.
• Contribute to an encouraging , supportive, respectful, positive, and enjoyable work environment

The successful candidate will have the following knowledge, skills and abilities:

• Culinary Degree
• Experience working on hot line
• Experience in fine dining atmosphere a definite plus
• Commitment to excellence in food quality
• Service oriented mindset
• Professional demeanor
• Ability to be part of a collaborative team
• Satisfy resident needs
• Provide quality in sufficient amounts
• Ensure timely production
• Flexibility to work in all areas of kitchen.
