Job Description
Cardiac Recovery Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cardiac Recovery Nurse to join our team in the cardiac drip titration and recovery unit. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Role Responsibilities

• Titrate cardiac drips accurately under physician guidelines.
• Provide comprehensive care to patients in the recovery and observation unit.
• Monitor and assess vital signs and patient status during recovery.
• Prepare and manage patient care plans that include pulling sheaths and monitoring access sites.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document all patient interactions and progress in electronic medical records.
• Educate patients and families on post-procedure care and medications.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current nursing license in the state of practice.
• Experience in cardiac drip titration and post-procedure recovery.
• Knowledge of pulling sheaths and care of access sites.
• Strong assessment skills and understanding of general medical-surgical nursing.
• Ability to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
