QC Microbiology Analyst I

We are seeking a QC Analyst 1 for a 10-month contract role in Walkersville, MD. Operating 100% onsite on a standard first shift, this role is a fantastic opportunity to build foundational technical skills, master aseptic techniques, and develop proficiency within a cutting-edge cGMP environment.

responsibilities:

• Perform routine quality control testing and sampling of environmental monitoring (EM), utilities, raw materials, and finished goods.
• Document, review, and report laboratory data accurately in strict compliance with GDP and ALCOA+ principles.
• Support day-to-day laboratory operations, including inventory management, housekeeping, and basic equipment care.
• Identify and promptly escalate data deviations, atypical results, or compliance concerns to management.
• Assist with sample coordination, external shipments, and minor SOP documentation updates.

 
qualifications:
Required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 to 4 years of experience in entry-level laboratory work and a cGMP environment.
• Foundational laboratory skills and awareness of aseptic techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and a solid understanding of data integrity principles.

Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree in a science-related field.
