Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Medicine Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Mids Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: RN ADN Certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, TNCC Must-Have: Trauma, Stroke, STEMI, Sepsis, Moderate Sedation Description: Backfill position available in the Emergency Department. This facility is a 198-bed, level III trauma center. It includes state-of-the-art operating suites. Healthcare services cover a diverse geographic region. Services include medical, surgical, and rehabilitation care. Additional services offered include a childbirth center, cancer center, nephrology unit, pediatric unit, inpatient behavioral health unit, day surgery center, and extensive imaging and lab testing services. Accreditations include PCI, Mammography, and Laboratory. Recognized as one of the Top 20 Most Beautiful Clients in the U.S. The facility has received the Reputation 800 Award in Healthcare. Features of the area include rivers, golf courses, lakes, and national parks. Outdoor activities available include hiking, kayaking, and historical sightseeing. The facility utilizes a team nursing and pod system. Each unit has a social worker and an assigned unit educator. The Emergency Department has 48 beds with flex space. Patient ratios are 4:1 in the main ED and 6:1 in Fast Track. Equipment includes Zoll Defibrillator and Level One Blood Transfuser. EHR system used is Cerner. Common patient population includes those with ESRD, Cirrhosis, COPD, and psychiatric needs. Common diagnoses and treatments include substance abuse disorders, psychological disorders, CHF, abdominal pain, and chest pain. The facility emphasizes collaboration and high-quality patient care.
