About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Hospice Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 1 full year of Adult Home Health Experience or 1 full year of Hospice experience required. License: Must have a valid nursing license in hand. Certifications: CPR, BLS Must-Have: Must be proficient in HomeCare HomeBase EMR and OASIS. Must have reliable transportation, a current driver’s license, and agency-required liability insurance. Must be willing to travel up to 75 miles from the assigned routing center. Description: The Registered Nurse will coordinate and direct the provision of home nursing care according to physician orders. Care is based on agency policies and procedures through the application of the nursing process. The role involves supervising and evaluating Home Health Aides and Licensed Practical Nurses/Licensed Vocational Nurses. The RN will conduct home visits and attend periodic office meetings. An average of 5-10 patients will be assigned per day. Expectations include completing documentation within 24 hours of patient visits. The RN will be responsible for accepting all assigned patients regardless of distance. It is important to note that there are no guaranteed hours with this contract. Clinicians must meet weekly productivity expectations of 30 points, equating to approximately 40 hours per week. Mileage for patient visits will be reimbursed at the standard IRS rate. This position requires a commitment to delivering compassionate care to patients in their homes.
