Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Active OT license (Alabama or eligible for licensure)
• Experience in school-based OT, including IEP development and implementation
• Familiarity with a variety of therapeutic techniques suitable for preschool to high school students
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Comfortable with a travel or itinerant model, serving multiple schools

Responsibilities:

• Deliver OT services to students across 5 elementary schools, 1 middle school, and 1 high school within the county
• Assess and document students’ needs, progress, and goal attainment
• Develop targeted interventions in collaboration with teachers, staff, and families
• Adjust therapy plans as needed, ensuring compliance with educational and therapeutic guidelines
• Manage time and travel efficiently across different campuses
• Support district-wide initiatives to improve student access to OT services
