Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications:

• Valid Maryland certification as a secondary Special Education Teacher
• Experience working with middle school students or in a resource room setting preferred
• Strong communication skills with students, families, and colleagues
• Passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs
• Ability to adapt instruction and provide creative, engaging strategies

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and small-group instruction to students in the resource room
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education teachers, staff, and families to foster student success
• Maintain organized, accurate records of student progress and achievement
• Encourage a positive, inclusive classroom environment where students feel valued and supported
