About DATTCO DATTCO has a full time opening for Dispatchers in our Coach & Tour Division DATTCO was founded in 1924 and entered the motor coach charter business in 1964 with the New York Worlds Fair DATTCO is now New Englands largest private passenger transportation company Our Coach & Tour Group operates 200 vehicles and drives 6 million miles annually Learn more about us at The following shifts are available 2nd shift 4pm 1200am Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday Sunday DATTCO Offers Family oriented culture & team environmentPromotion opportunities we promote from withinMedical & dental insuranceLife insuranceFlexible spending account401k plan with company matchPaid time offEmployee referral bonuses Primary Responsibilities Work with supervisors to ensure on time departure of all vehicles Check in drivers as they report to work including reviewing uniforms and providing work tickets Providing information regarding Coach & Tour Division operations to customers and other staff Utilising GPS and dispatching software to monitor operations of routes for accuracy Working with drivers and other staff to address service issuesfailures in a timely manner Review driver itineraries for accuracy and address driver questionsconcerns promptly Minimum Requirements Open availability to work mornings nights weekends and holidays as required 2 years dispatching experience High school degree or equivalent Bus operations experience preferred Well developed planning and organizational skills Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast paced environment Detail oriented and customer focused Proactive mentality towards problem solving Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening Adaptability to different personality types Ability to work with computer systems and follow specific business rules for data entry Proficient in Microsoft Office primarily Word Excel and Outlook Ability to use internet or other tools to research trip and destination information Ability to adapt to changing requirements at a moments notice Must be able to work in a team environment ATTENTION This is a safety sensitive position as determined by the Federal Transit Administration FTA and requires inclusion in a random drug testing pool which determines the usage of prohibited substances including recreational marijuana Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race color religion sex national origin disability protected veteran status and any other protected classes #J-18808-Ljbffr DATTCO
