Registered Nurse Nursing

Schedule: Days and Nights

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 32 per week

Requirements:

• Must have completed a program of education in nursing from an NLN approved institution.
• Licensed in good standing in the State as a Registered Professional Nurse.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Deliver patient care through the nursing process of assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Direct and coordinate nursing care for patients based on nursing practice standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide quality and efficient care to achieve the best possible patient outcome.
• Conduct initial assessments and re-assess patients every 24 hours, applying age-specific and culturally diverse considerations.
• Administer treatments, medications, and interpret diagnostic tests while providing patient education.

Compliance / Notes:

• Orientation starts on a Tuesday; therefore, guaranteed hours will not apply in the first week.
• All travelers are required to show proof of completed COVID vaccinations.
