Technician III

Join to apply for the Technician III role at VPET USA LLC In the Technician role, you will be responsible for mold changes, PM, and service work and supporting the processing and troubleshooting of all Blow Molding/Injection Molding and Support Machines. Support process improvement and new technology processes to achieve goals for profitability, safety, and ergonomics. In addition, you will be responsible for assisting the Chief Engineer and Management team with other projects as assigned. Essential Responsibilities Comply with all quality, safety, and work rules and regulations. Adheres to all instructions, Good Manufacturing Practices, and housekeeping procedures. Start-up/Shut down the machine. Clean & Service machine. Change molds and set up production equipment. Setup and service peripheral equipment. Clean and service molds and machine parts. Replace and repair parts. Assist in installing the machine. Assist Process/Maintenance technician. Any other duties as assigned. Education And/or Experience High School diploma or equivalent required. Experience with Blow molding/ Injection machines is desired. Technical training in the Blow/Injection Molding Process is preferred. 2 years’ minimum operation and adjustment experience with machines. Other Skills And Abilities Ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, identify, and address problems, and meet deadlines. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. English skills must be proficient in reading, writing, and communicating. Basic math skills Basic computer skills Must be able to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work effectively both independently and within a team environment. Ability to work overtime and weekends as required. Must be able to operate material handling equipment. Must be committed to the success of the entire organization. Mechanical abilities are a plus. Understand and comply with applicable OSHA safety rules/regulations and Lock-out/Tag-out requirements. Must be able to be forklift certified within 60 days. Physical Requirements Requirements include, but are not limited to: Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods. Must be able to lift and carry up to 85 lbs. Must be able to push, pull, twist, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crawl. Must be able to perform repetitive motions such as reaching and grasping. Ability to reach 7’ (84”). The work environment is in a warehouse and temperatures inside vary between hot and cold based on the outside conditions. Work is fast-paced.
