This group of diverse Engineers has a long history of supporting the Air Force Mission reaching back to the 1960's. Today's challenge is to support the modernization of the Minuteman Weapon System by crafting, building, testing and deploying new Reentry Systems and Ground Equipment that will enable the new system to perform for many years to come. This critical mission area has to be done right, pass meticulous certifications and last for many years to come. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.Basic QualificationsExperience in Systems Engineering, or related technical field experience with knowledge of Systems Engineering concepts and processesDemonstrated ability to work with multiple engineering field to identify technical product characteristics and con-op to develop requirements specificationsDemonstrated ability to develop and decompose complex system architectures Writing requirements documentation and coordinating release through approval processDOORS or similar tool for requirements management, decomposition and publicationMust be eligible to obtain an Interim Secret Clearance to Start (No Clearance required to Apply); US Citizenship requiredMust obtain and maintain a Final Secret Clearance Desired SkillsScript modification and development, preferably with DOORSExperience with DOORS, ePDM and change processesExperienced in model‑based systems engineering (MBSE) with Cameo Systems Modeler to develop, analyze, and validate complex system architectures.
