A travel pharmacist role is available for immediate start in Laughlin, NV, offering a dynamic and rewarding experience within a hospital setting. This contract position features a 7 on, 7 off schedule with varied shift lengths of 10 to 12 hours, accommodating both weekday and weekend commitments.

Schedule:

• Weekdays: 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• Weekends: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• 7 days on, followed by 7 days off

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders promptly and accurately
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure quality operations
• Consult with physicians and nurses to optimize patient care
• Apply pharmacokinetics knowledge in medication management
• Utilize the MedHost electronic medical records system effectively

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Arizona pharmacist license
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications
• Proven hospital pharmacy experience, including intravenous (IV) therapy certification and hands-on practice
• Strong understanding of inpatient pharmacy operations and clinical pharmacy duties
