We take pride in the hands-on work our team does every day, and as we continue to expand across our markets, we're looking for driven, safety-minded people who want to grow with us.As a CDL Class B Truck Driver, you will operate a waste hauling truck to provide residential trash and recycling pickup. You will lift and carry residential and/or commercial waste and deposit it into a compactor throughout your route. The ideal candidate stays attentive to safety, reports any defects, accidents, or violations, and inspects vehicles for mechanical and safety issues along the way. If you're happiest out on the road instead of behind a desk, this role is built for you.ResponsibilitiesSafely operates a waste hauling truck within approximately 150 miles of home.Completes daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.Complies with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, break periods, etc.) as well as company policies and procedures.Maneuvers trucks into loading or unloading positions.Lifts and carries residential waste and deposits it into a compactor.Inspects vehicles for mechanical and safety issues and reports preventative maintenance needs to the management team.Reports any defects, accidents, or violations.Performs other duties as assigned.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred.Minimum of 1 year of verifiable Class B driving experience required.CDL Class A or B required.No more than one moving violation on MVR within the last 3 years.Physical Requirements and Work EnvironmentRegularly operates a commercial vehicle within approximately 150 miles of home.Frequently lifts and carries residential waste and deposits it into a compactor throughout the shift.Regular entering, exiting, and maneuvering of the truck for loading and unloading.Work is performed on the road in varying weather conditions.Schedule is home daily, Monday through Friday, with shifts typically running 10-12 hours; additional hours may be needed based on business needs.Pay and BenefitsWeekly pay.Multiple health plans available, including a tax-advantaged HSA option.Dental and vision coverage.Company-paid basic life insurance.Retirement plan with a company match up to 5%.Safety and retention incentives.Paid time off.Access to employee discounts through LifeMart.Ecowaste Solutions offers a competitive base salary, the opportunity to earn incentive pay, and a comprehensive employee benefits package.
