School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

TactStaff Education is hiring a full-time School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2026–2027 school year in the Wyoming, Delaware area. Join a collaborative special education team dedicated to helping students build communication skills and achieve success both inside and outside the classroom.

Position Details

• Full-Time, Onsite
• 2026–2027 School Year
• Start Date: August 19, 2026
• End Date: June 11, 2027
• Monday–Friday
• Hours: 7:45 AM – 3:15 PM
• Hourly Pay: $60–$66/hour (W2), depending on experience

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech-language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals
• Maintain accurate documentation and Medicaid billing (as applicable)
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, and families
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
• Support students with speech, language, fluency, voice, social communication, and feeding needs as appropriate
• Help students improve communication skills that support academic and social success

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active Delaware Speech-Language Pathologist License (or eligibility to obtain)
• Delaware Department of Education certification/licensure required for school-based practice
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CF candidates may be considered if permitted by the district
• Previous school-based experience preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
