NIST RMF Analyst

Supporting the authorization lifecycle of a mission-critical Department of Veterans Affairs cloud platform, the full-time remote NIST RMF Analyst will manage all six steps of the NIST RMF process and maintain required documentation in an environment undergoing active restructuring. Key responsibilities Support all six steps of the NIST RMF process and develop, update, and maintain required RMF documentation Implement and maintain required NIST security controls and perform continuous monitoring activities in accordance with VA policies Prepare and submit required artifacts for Authorization to Operate (ATO) packages and coordinate with security personnel during authorization reviews Required qualifications Bachelor's Degree in cybersecurity, information assurance, or a related field 5 years of experience supporting NIST RMF processes CompTIA Security+ certification (preferred) Excellent knowledge of all six steps of the NIST RMF process Experience supporting a federal agency
