Children's Urgent Care - Medical Assistant

**This is a Work Experience position available through EmployNV Youth Hub. All candidates will be considered after program eligibility is determined.** Company : Children Urgent Care Position Title : Medical Assistant Back Office Hours: Full-time Pay: $16.00 - $19.00/hour Program: WEX and OJT Account Manager: Jenelle Berrien Number of Positions : 1 Responsibilities:
Triage, Vitals, Injections , Referrals, Inventory, Swab testing,
Collecting specimens, Newborn Screening , Stocking Rooms, Help with
scheduling, Sterilizing equipment, Assisting the provider with procedures. Monday-Friday 10:00am-6:00pm Required Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:
Able to commute to different locations, Spanish preferred, 1 Year of MA Experience preferred.
Working Conditions: 2 Locations, Must be able to commute.

- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
- Strong Communication skills
- Compassionate and Empathetic
- Ability to work in a team and collaborate
- Attention to detail
- Able to give immunizations
- Knowledge of testing with specimens
- Able to take vitals
- Comfortable handling and juggling newborns, children, and adults
- Multitasking skills
- Able to commute to both offices - Henderson and Summerlin
