Machine Operator
$59kWe are seeking a Press Machine Operator for a medical device manufacturing company in New Britain, CT. The ideal candidate will be someone who has worked with press machines (40-400 tons). Must be able to do some setup and operate heavy duty press machines in a manufacturing environment. The ability to use measurement gauges (comparators, dial indicators, micrometers, calipers, is highly preferred. salary: $59,000 - $72,999.98 per year

- Daily set ups of production jobs in mechanical presses ranging from 30 to 400 tons
- Maintenance and troubleshooting of complex progressive and compound metal stamping dies
- Operation of mechanical presses ranging from 30 to 400 tons
- Have knowledge of comparators, dial indicators, vision equipment, micrometers, calipers and basic hand tools
- Have good attendance
- Be able to lift moderate loads regularly (under 40 lbs.)
