About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head of Design to lead and inspire teams in the creation of exceptional, human-centered digital experiences. This hands-on leadership role is pivotal in the evolution of design, particularly in the integration of AI, and requires a leader who can define the boundaries of craft and AI, and drive the development of design systems across a globally distributed team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic guidance, overseeing the design of intelligent experiences, and ensuring the highest standards of creativity and craftsmanship. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of innovation, and mentoring designers are also key aspects of the role. Candidates for the Head of Design position at the company should have a strong design craft foundation, a diverse portfolio of digital products, and at least 2 years' experience in leading design teams. The role demands a visionary leader with the ability to inspire and mentor, as well as a forward-thinking approach to AI and design systems. Thought leadership, a passion for enhancing design practices, and a meticulous eye for detail are essential. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in designing intelligent experiences and be adept at using AI tools within the design process. Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for client relationships are also required, with a thought-leadership presence being a plus.
