Job Full Description

TEMPORARY MATERIAL HANDLER POSITION

Hours: Monday-Thursday 5:30am-3:30pm

* OT as needed on Friday from 5:30am-1:30pm

Pay: $18.10/HR

Duties:

Pick and deliver warehoused parts to designated assembly areas to support efficient production flow
Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely and effectively
Maintain accurate material transactions within the ERP system
Follow all safety procedures and support company safety initiatives
Perform daily forklift inspections and report any issues
Maintain stock areas, ensuring organization, cleanliness, and proper inventory levels
Collaborate closely with production lines to ensure timely material availability
Identify and resolve basic material-flow or inventory issues
Participate in team meetings and share job-related information
Demonstrate consistent attendance, quality, and attention to detail
Complete assigned tasks following established procedures, processes, and policies
Support continuous improvement efforts within the department

Qualifications:

0-2 years of experience in material handling, warehouse, or manufacturing environments
Ability to operate a forklift or willingness to be trained and certified
Basic problem-solving skills with the ability to follow defined procedures
Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
Strong work ethic with a positive, professional attitude
Ability to learn and apply principles, practices, and processes related to the role
Comfortable working under daily or weekly supervision with frequent review for accuracy
Demonstrated responsibility, reliability, and follow-through on commitments
Ability to maintain focus and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
Basic computer skills; experience with ERP systems preferred
