Experienced Legal Assistant/Paralegal
$25 - $40 per hourGREEN & FRENCH, LLP
Green & French, LLP, a downtown San Diego firm practicing common interest development (HOA), real estate, construction, and employment law, is seeking an experienced legal assistant/paralegal to support our attorneys.
This is a full-time, in-office position. It is not remote or hybrid.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to attorneys on a busy litigation and transactional docket
- Prepare pleading shells, proofs of service, and other litigation documents from attorney drafts
- E-file documents with state and federal courts and track filing deadlines
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and vendors by phone and email
- Maintain calendars, files, and correspondence
- Provide general administrative support as needed
Requirements
- Prior experience as a legal assistant or paralegal in a California civil litigation practice
- Working knowledge of California civil procedure, court rules, and filing requirements
- Experience with court e-filing systems
- Proficiency in WordPerfect, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Docs/Workspace
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication with clients
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced office
Preferred
- Paralegal certificate
- Experience with common interest development, real estate, construction, or employment matters
Compensation: $25–$40 per hour, depending on experience.
